TeleMATER NYC is a pastoral activity of the ScalaMEDIA GROUP, a non-profit organization founded by Father Walter Tonelotto C.S. in the parish of Our Lady of Pompeii Shrine Church in New York.

Our Mission: to bring an italian Caholic Television channel to America, broadcasting the Italian programs of  TelePACE and CTV, the official catholic channels from the Vatican. TeleMater gives you daily the Holy Mass, the Holy Rosary directly from the Church of Our Lady of Pompeii in New York City; as well as daily cultural and religious programs from Italy.

Father Walter Tonelotto

holds a Master in Divinity from St. Paul’s University in Ottawa and a Master in Moral Theology from Union Theological Seminary at Columbia University, New York City. He spent his first 17 years of priesthood as a Teacher/Formation in the Scalabrinian seminaries of North America. As a missionary, he has worked in Mexico, Florida, Montreal, Canada and Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Since 2013 he is the pastor of Our Lady of Pompeii. He was instrumental for bringing Radio Maria, 25 years ago, and worked for three years as the supervisor of the three corporations of Radio Maria, English, Spanish and Italian on a national level. He is the Founder and Spiritual Director of TeleMATER, started at Our Lady of Pompeii, with the cooperation of a strong group of young Italian professionals.

Silvano Colombo

is the President of Telemater. from Lombardia, successful entrepreneur, moved to New York City a few years ago, engaged in social issues, he manages all his professional and business commitments with those of Telemater, allowing it to grow and expand in the multi-ethnic community of New York.

Grazia Lecca

she has a degree in Communications Sciences, and she is a member of the Board since its inception. She has a great passion for the media and especially their impact on the new generations. Active in fundraising, she is always looking for new partnerships and new opportunities to create positive synergies. She believes positive thinking and Beauty can save the world, and this is why she started the amazing adventure with TeleMATER.

Paolo Franzo

He is the TeleMATER Compliance Officer. He graduated in law from the State University of Milan and holds a Masters Degree in US Law from Fordham University in New York. Attorney in Italy, admitted to practice before the Court of Cassation and the Superior Jurisdictions. Also admitted to practice in the State of New York as an Attorney at Law, and as a Foreign Legal Consultant in Italy Law.

Costanza Mazzanti

has a degree in Theology from Pontificia Universita’ Lateranense Institute of Religious Sciences “Giovanni Paolo II” in Pesaro, Italy. As the Executive Media Manager for TeleMATER she is in charge of the programming of the schedule and utilizing her passion for religious teachings she finds the best sections of italian programs through our partners. She also works as an Assistant Producer as she scouts new engaging italian video content, from video productions or individual filmmakers willing to have an impact on religious media.

Anna Raisa Favale

is a Director and TV Producer. She graduated in Directing and Writing for Theatre from the National Academy of Dramatic Art “Silvio D’Amico” in Rome, then she specialized in Directing and Writing for Cinema in South Africa, at AFDA. She also has a Degree in Pedagogy – Education Science at ROMA TRE University, and a Master in Peace Building at the Theology Faculty of “San Bonaventura” in Rome. Anna Raisa has worked many years in different fields like Prisons, Refugee Camps and Mental Health Centers, using Theatre as a tool for mediation. She worked in Israel and in the Occupied Palestinian Territories filming documentaries, and in South Africa in Cinema Production Companies. She is currently the Artistic Director of some Video Production for Aleteia, and she works as a Director and Producer for TeleMATER.

Lisa Zaccaria

is a Branding Expert, Graphic Designer, Web Designer and TV Producer. She has a MFA in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Italy; a Masters in Marketing from Fordham University in New York City, and years of experience creating brand images for entrepreneurs in various industries. For TeleMATER she creates the graphics for all exclusive series, web content, and any additional new marketing materials; as well as the production of in studio programs, and promotional ads.

Emanuele Sesta

is a New York-based video editor and film director. He started his career in communications as a Media Relations Manager at the Italian Delegation to the United Nations in New York. He went on to cultivate his passion for creative arts by collaborating with American theater and film production companies and pursuing a diploma in Film Producing in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Italy, he holds a BA in Media Studies (University of Palermo) and a MA in Politics & International Relations (University of Pisa). Having spent one year in Spain to complete his research at the Film Department of the University of Valencia, he is fully fluent in the Spanish language as well. With a strong interest in cross-cultural issues and documentary film projects, he loves to work with talented people eager to tell stories that speak to both heart and mind.

Nick Signorello

is the Regional Director for TeleMATER Queens, NYC. He is the link with many italian american communities and the producer of the program “Comuita’ Italiana”
